As we approach the end of 2020, with a huge sigh of relief and the hope of a better year ahead for us all, we need to make you aware of some small changes at Fibrex.
We are currently NOT TAKING ORDERS FROM THE EU. I'm sorry to be so bold but I just want to be clear.
We will be open to the public again next year. From February onwards the gates will be open and you will be more than welcome to come and shop for Ferns, Ivies, Herbaceous perennials & Conservatory plants. Strictly speacking Pelargonium sales, otherwise known around here as "Pellie Season" starts on April 1st but we always get the early birds in during March so the Pelargonium sales house will be filled up as soon as it's possible to do so. The nursery will, however, be closed to visitors during January. If you have any enquiries, please email them to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Coronavirus. There will be certain rules we all have to comply with to keep us all safe. We would therefore kindly like to remind all customers that masks must be worn on the nursery. We will have hand sanitisers in situ for your use and all surfaces, table tops, trollies etc will be regulary wiped down. There will be a one way system in place and plenty of room to continue to maintain social distancing. Please remember that this is all for your safety as well as ours and that of our respective lovedones.
The Gardener's Gathering. In June of 2021 our much loved garden party returns. This will be held on the 19th & 20th June during which time we will host the National Annual Pelargonium Show & Competition. We will have talks and workshops throughout the weekend, refreshments good company & oodles of fabulous plants. We truly hope that you will be able to make it over to see us and join in. More information on the show will be posted early next year.
I will round this off with a note that the National Collections will once again be open to view and hope that 2021 will see a slow and gradual transition back to normal life for us all. Keeping this in mind, Team Fibrex would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year.
