Having been growing for over thirty years and only selling finished plants from the Nursery and at Flower Shows around the country, many of our customers have asked us to supply them with Begonia Tubers. To build up sufficient stocks to be able to offer them mail order has taken us approximately ten years.

We are now delighted to be able to offer a limited number of Named Begonia Tubers for dispatch from February until late March and prices are for dormant tubers. Tubers should be started in pots or trays covering the tuber with a thin layer of good compost. Keep at a temperature of 16°C. Keep the compost moist, pot on as necessary preferably with a soil based compost, e.g. John Innes No. 2. Removal of the first flower buds when the plant is small will mean larger flowers later on.

The tubers we will send out will be just starting into growth to make sure you have a perfect tuber. We will send full cultural instructions when dispatched.
