To be able to conduct our business competently and be able to process your order we would need your name, address, telephone number and email address. Your information is only held for as long as legally necessary by law. You can request the information we hold verbally or in writing or ask to have it deleted from our data base to email@example.com.
None of this information is used by any other party other than ourselves.
We do not hold your credit/debit card details. These details are held in a secure location with the companies that process the payments. These are PayPal & Shopify and these details are never shared with other parties.
PELARGONIUM MAIL ORDER PLANTS
All mail order pelargoniums are grown to order in a 6cm bio-degradable pot.We usually grow plants specifically for each order, so it is advisable when ordering to select one or two alternative varieties in case we have difficulty in propagating some of the more difficult varieties. We will substitute the nearest alternative unless requested not to. If substitute of our choice is unacceptable, you are entitled to return it within 7 days and we will reimburse the cost of the plant and postage. The fact that we accept an order and payment does not guarantee that every plant will be available at the time of execution; occasionally plants may die or be damaged by adverse conditions. We would, of course, then refund any payments already made. Your order will be acknowledge by an automated email. However once we have received and processed your order we will send you an acknowledgement of the availability
All plants are pot grown and dispatched by Royal Mail letter post or next day courier because speed is essential once the pelargoniums are packed. On receipt of plants, pot on into larger pots leaving the bio-degradable pot on the plant - the roots will grow through this and eventually the bio-degradable pot will disintegrate. John Innes No 2, or a multipurpose potting compost can be used. They can also be planted straight out into the garden or into tubs still with the peat pot on (remembering that they will not withstand frost). If you are growing plants in pots after four weeks water regularly with a high potash feed (tomato feed) once every 10 days during the late Spring and Summer.
Orders for Spring must be received by 30th APRIL and will be dispatched by the end of May or in the case of late April orders, in early June. The Fibrex Favourites range for quick Pelargonium Dispatch is active from the end of April to mid-July, stock permitting. Orders received after this date will be dispatched in Autumn. The last date for Autumn dispatch is 1st SEPTEMBER and the plants will be sent during October and November, and Spring dispatch is from April to early June.
PAYMENT By Cheque, credit/debit card through Paypal or Shopify. Other forms of payment can be made please enquire at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Payment will be taken from your account on receipt of your order. However please note we may not be able to dispatch your order within the statutory 30 days because the plants are being grown specifically for you, and depending on the time of the year the order is given the dispatch of the plants might vary from 2 months to 6 months.
Cheques (made payable to Fibrex Nurseries Ltd) will be banked on receipt of order. We regret we are no longer able to accept orders of less than 5 plants for dispatch by post. We will supply any number, however small, of plants collected from the Nursery.
You are entitled to cancel your order from the day of ordering until the date of dispatch. However, because of the nature of the goods, once we have dispatched your plants, under section 13, paragraph 1c of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) regulation 2000, goods that are made to the consumer specifications or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly means your statutory 7 working days cooling off period is void. Before dispatch, plants are examined and packed with great care to ensure that they arrive in perfect condition Once the plants have been delivered safely the ownership has passed from us to the customer. We cannot be responsible for the health of plants when they are grown in conditions not under our control, although we are quite prepared to give advice on growing problems.
Before dispatching, plants are carefully examined and packed to ensure that they arrive in perfect condition. All uk parcels are covered by insurance against damage, loss or delay. If your plants are not in good condition upon receipt because of damage or delay, notify us immediately by letter (first class), giving the date of arrival of the parcel, so we can make a claim against Royal Mail. Please retain the box and contents so, if necessary, they are available for inspection. Complaints cannot be entertained unless these conditions are adhered to. In due course, the plants will be replaced free of charge. We cannot be responsible for the future health of plants when plants are grown in conditions beyond our control although we are quite prepared to give advice on growing problems. Once the plants have been delivered the ownership has passed from us to the customer.

HEDERA/HARDY FERN AND HARDY GERANIUM
These are dispatched every 3-4 weeks in batches. On receipt of your order, plants are ready to plant immediately. However, if this is not convenient, remove from polythene bag , pot into 1litre pot (5inch) using a multi-purpose potting compost and water well, keep in shady place until ready to plant into permanent position.
WINTER PLANT ORDERS
Orders received after early December will be dispatched usually February onwards or when the weather is suitable.
HIBISCUS AND CONSERVATORY PLANTS
These are mainly dispatched May to September. Mainly grown in 9cm-1ltr pots (3.5inch-5inch) depending on specie.

WE REGRET WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR POSTAL OR DELIVERY SERVICES OF COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE UK. THEREFORE ALL ORDERS ACCEPTED BY US ARE ON THE CONDITION THAT THE DISPATCHED IS AT YOUR RISK AND NOT OURS.
However the plants are thoroughly checked and carefully packed before dispatch and every effort is made to get the plants to you in good condition.
